A few months ago I was invited to participate in this year’s Calling Caldecott. For those of you unfamiliar with Calling Caldecott, it’s a fantastic series of posts by guest writers, reviewers, librarians, and children’s books lovers that aim to praise the ‘Caldecott worthy qualities’ of certain books. The reviews are posted on the Horn Book‘s website. You can take a look at my review of this gorgeous book here.
